Happy Halloween

To get into the Halloween spirit, my lil honey and I dressed as Momma Bee and Baby Bee. I figured it was probably the (first, last and only) year that we could having matching costumes!

We didn't exactly Trick or Treat. We walked around our neighborhood with my niece and nephew, sister, dad and brother in law while my niece and nephew collected lots of candy.

Dont worry, that's not real lightning! I added that in for a "spooky effect" The weather was clear skies....and cold!

Parker figured out that I had wings too!

Then we stopped for a quick family picture..

and it was back to scouring the neighborhood for tricks and treats

..Remember when I said it was cold? I forgot windy too! It was time to Put my baby bee in his stroller, so we could "buzzz" on home (hehe)

It was much warmer watching the trick or treaters from inside....

..and before the night was over, I got a kiss through the window from my sweet lil honey.

Happy Fall Y'all

I Love the fall...The leaves changing, the cool air..and Fun Fall activities. My sister and I took the kids( Genie & Iron Man) to an afternoon trick or treat/Fall festival over the weekend. Not too much for my little guy to do, but he had fun looking at all the big kids in their costumes.

Dr Seuss 1st Birthday Party

Our Little Man turned ONE Year old on Sunday October 17th, 2010. We threw Parker a Dr Seuss Birthday Party and had so much fun planning it.

We cant believe a year has come and gone so quickly. Its been a wonderful year. The first year was so incredibly easy. Probably for two reasons, The first is that Parker is the most magnificent, easy going, sweet baby boy. The second, we had a lot of help from my mom! We truly could never imagine life any other way. We are very lucky to have Parker as our son.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET BOY

The Cat In The Cat Cutout was so cute! He was the theme of the party.Preston and I also made drawings of Seuss inspired characters and hung then throughout the house.

I wanted to make Parker a special Happy Birthday sign for his Party
