We celebrated Preston's Birthday last week with my family for a cookout and cake.

....We came home to a giant storm cloud hanging over our house.

Peek A Boo Baby

Just a little game of Peek A Boo was all it took to get Parker to laugh...while looking toward the camera! However this doesn't always work. I considered it my lucky day.

Cirque du Soleil

Preston and I went to see Cirque du Soleil today in Toledo. It was absolutely amazing, unimaginable and basically indescribable. We both agreed it was the best theater/concert type show we had ever seen. We were five rows from the stage. The performers/acrobats performed right over top of us! I really hope it comes around next year again.

Parker, Please look at the Camera

Parker is not fond of the camera (yet!) Thus the reason so many of my posts are of him not looking at the camera. As soon as the camera points in his direction he puts on his serious face or refuses to look all together. So I have to think of other creative ways to capture the moment(s)!

We literally jump up and down, make funny noises and try impersonating his favorite characters (Elmo, Buzz Light Year, Woody from Toy story) but he still wont look at the camera.

Sesame Street Live

A few weekends ago we took Parker to see Sesame Street Live. Once I heard they were coming to town, I bought tickets immediately. Which paid off, because we were just a few rows from the stage! After I bought the tickets, I was nervous that Parker would be too little to go....but I was very wrong ; )


He loved it. We had not been out of the house as a family doing something fun in months (due to a very long winter) So, we splurged a bit, and basically bought Parker every toy they sold ( well not really, but close!). Every OVER PRICED toy!

Don't let this look fool you below. This is Parker's look of intense fascination. He really loved the show and we would definitely take him again.

Never Look Away
